AonAgri are delighted to announce our partnership with Tangaroa Walker - successful businessman, award-winning Southland contract milker and the man behind Farm 4 Life.

Tangaroa and Farm 4 Life rose to fame after his Facebook videos of daily life on an Invercargill dairy farm went viral; his insights into all aspects of farm life, from inside the milkshed to delivering calves and discussing rosters was complimented by his commitment to raising awareness around mental health and his need to provide valuable business mentorship to young New Zealanders. Tangaroa shares his experiences and industry knowledge to help others with honest and relatable content, off-the-cuff humour and bundling it into one uniquely kiwi package.

Yarns on the Farm.

We begin our partnership with the ‘Yarns on the Farm’ video series. Yarns on the Farm is all about the importance of having the right farm insurance for you or your business, breaking down complicated topics, going through common agri risks and of course, talking to Tangaroa about some his own personal experiences. Tangaroa knows first-hand the importance of insurance and the need to have good risk management procedures in place on the farm. He also knows the benefits of having his own local AonAgri broker to guide him through it, every step of the way.

We headed to Tangaroas farm in Invercargill to break down some of the big questions and big topics for his Farm 4 Life followers, with the hope of providing helpful insights and to share some of things he wishes he had known when he started out sharemilking.

Whether you have been farming for 5 years or 5 minutes; whether you have a team of staff or you’re just starting out; insurance doesn’t need to be complicated – but having the right policies in place for you or your farm is important. AonAgri offers professional advice, superior claims management and local service from Kerikeri to Invercargill.

You can view the videos here. If you would like to discuss any of the topics covered in Yarns on the Farm, talk to your local AonAgri broker today.
