Celebrating 20 years of partnership with Rowing New Zealand.

This year marks an exciting milestone for us at Aon as we celebrate two decades of partnership with Rowing New Zealand. One key focus of our partnership is the annual Aon Maadi Regatta, the largest secondary school sports event in the Southern Hemisphere.

The 2024 Aon Maadi Regatta graced the scenic Lake Ruataniwha, from 18-23 March. Watch the 2024 Aon Maadi Regatta highlights below.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants. A special mention to Hamilton Boys' High School for securing the Aon Maadi Cup and a shoutout to Olivia Tattersfield from Mount Albert Grammar School and Ben Allan from Timaru Boys’ High School, who were the winners of the U17 single scull races. Both Olivia and Ben received the Aon Laszlo Legacy - taking home a world class single skiff boat for their school.

Aon + Rowing New Zealand
