Sick Leave - we provide all employees with an additional 5 days (a total of 10 days) sick leave per annum

  • Health insurance - Aon contributes 1.5% of base salary towards your Southern Cross Healthcare when you join the Aon Corporate Scheme (including your family if you’re on the same policy). Join our group scheme in the first 90 days of employment and receive immediate cover for qualifying pre-existing conditions. 
  • Income protection, Trauma Cover and Life & Terminal illness Insurance –  all generous benefits that you’ll enjoy automatically when you join Aon. Additionally, there are fantastic ‘top up’ options available and spouse cover at significantly discounted rates.

  • Personal Insurance Discounts – Aon permanent employees receive discounted rates for domestic insurance. No brokerage is charged on policies for employees and your immediate family (residing in the same household as the employee), and for immediate family members (not living in the same household as you) a 25% reduction in the brokerage may be offered. There are also other varying discounts on premiums, which your local domestic broker will discuss with you.
  • ChildCare - if you are considering childcare for your children, Aon employees are offered a 15% discount off your weekly fee with Kindercare learning centres. Kindercare has early childhood centres in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, Hamilton and Palmerston North.

Flexible Working

Flexibility– with over 65 offices nationwide, we offer opportunities to work from an alternative Aon branch from time to time. You can also apply for flexible working.

Career Break - all permanent employees can apply for an unpaid career break of up to 12 months, so you can travel or study whilst maintaining job security.

Early weekends – we believe that downtime is important; time away from work for family, friends and activities. To assist our colleagues with this, we finish at 4pm on Fridays so our people can beat the traffic and start their weekends a little early.

Aon Launch │ Graduate and Cadet Programme

Brand new to Aon, 2020, will see us introduce “launch” our first Graduate and Cadet Programme for NZ!

As an Aon Graduate or Cadet you will get to exposure to various business units based in Christchurch, Waikato and Auckland. 

“Launch” is aimed to target our future leaders and technical specialists able to contribute to the success of our business.
